A Flemish / Dutch chandelier is a style of brass chandelier with a bulbous baluster and arms curving down around a low hung ball.

The Flemish chandelier represents the Dutch image of austerity and economy. Although without crystals, sparkle is created by the light bouncing off the polished brass.
